Jubei Yagyu Dies, chapter 1 An pygmalio, V10 first chapter

A new Ishikawa series!

Now...Jubei Yagyu is the head of the Yagyu Clan following the events of Demonic Resurrection and has mostly retired from the world. A group of warriors decide to ask him if he wants to take over a post at their dojo, but Jubei is more interested in watching the Noh of his friend and subordinate Chikuami.

....and that's when everything goes nuts. Yagyu Jubei Dies is the third in Futaro Yamada's Jubei Trilogy that began with The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls and continued in Makai Tensho/Demonic Resurrection. And despite a slow first chapter...this one gets insane to levels you won't believe.

As for others...well, we're working on things best we can. All of them. I promise. We're still waiting for Dynamic's return for Shin Mazinger Zero and Kyomu Senki, Violence Jack is in the works and others...but I would REALLY appreciate the help with editing and translating now...is anyone able to help?

At any rate, here's chapter 1! Enjoy the Noh

And with our collaboration with Wingtip...here's a new Pygmalio!

  2. Awesome!!! Ishikawa didn't ever adapt the Yagyu Ninja Scrolls, did he? (I haven't read Makai Tensho yet since I was worried that the ghost of Miyamoto Musashi would spoil the end of Vagabond! :D)

    1. To my knowledge, no. The only one to adapt it was Masaki Segawa relatively recently.

Futaro Yamada also wrote Basilisk, and there's a bit of a nod to that later on.
